Village Hall Holiday Closure

We have just been notified by Waste Management that our garbage/recycling is running a day late because of our winter storm so pick-up will be this Friday instead of Thursday. We know the boulevards are full of snow so please do the best you can to find a secure spot to place your bins out of the roadway.
The village office will be closed tomorrow, Thursday, March 19th from 10:00 am through 1:00 pm for software updates and training. Sorry for any inconvenience.
Village residents: Thank you for all your patience with the excessive amount of snowfall our Public Works guys had to maneuver through to keep our village and all who pass through it as accessible as possible, as quickly and as safely as they possibly could. They are out there still trying to widen the roads and areas possible and doing clean up maintenance.![]()

PLEASE do not panic or break your backs trying to shovel your sidewalks in the timeframe our ordinance states. We do understand the amount of accumulated snow fall and even further added depths from plowing road and driveways. We know it had to go somewhere so you will have extra time to clear these paths. Don't worry about immediate fines. We will work with you all to get through this. Thank you to those that have already. We see you all trying.![]()
